or watching your weight, a tasty substitute for using bread is to make a lettuce wrap!
Just roll up your favorite sandwich fillings and use any lettuce for the wrap.
I like Romaine and Boston (or bib) lettuce since the leaves are bigger.
Sliced roast turkey, salmon, shrimp, lamb or other meat of your choice.
Use your imagination and add other ingredients you may like such as tomatoes,
avocados, peppers, herbs, lemon juice, or paprika, oregano, tumeric, cheese
or what ever you may have in your fridge!
Top a lettuce leaf with the ingredients of your choice, then, as if it were a sandwich,
wrap it up with another piece of lettuce.
THEN ENJOY A HEALTHY LUNCH, DINNER, OR A SNACK!!
